NICE is short for Nurturing Inclusive Community Environment. Through our program, we will add NICE Staff to initially two Rockland County schools to reduce bullying, effectively resolve conflicts and increase student performance and to create a safer and more welcoming environment. The model will be recorded by a qualified Columbia University researcher to quantify the successes of the program and to align it to be implemented into high schools across the country.</span></p>

<p class="yiv6750367431MsoNormal"><span>To bring this critically important endeavor to scale, we seek to hire a<b> Program Director </b>who can focus on delivering a blended approach to learning, as we scale the training and development of all teachers, NICE Staff and students across the program. The Program Director will oversee the management of the program. This includes operational excellence, training oversight, reporting to CRC and WOVEN management, human resources support for staff, hiring of staff, planning, school liaison efforts and issue resolution. Each of our NICE Staff and the Program Director will complement the work of the school they support and will receive at least 30 days of intensive training to complement the four-year degree they have, as required for this position, and the Program Director will work to ensure that the NICE Staff are each able to implement the concepts taught during the training.</span></p>

<p>Bureau of Mediation Services seeks a Program Coordinator for its Office for Collaboration and Dispute Resolution. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for execution of the OCDR mission to serve as a state-wide catalyst in advancing sustainable resolution of matters of public interest, broad use of community mediation throughout Minnesota, and effective collaboration and dispute resolution in state and local government. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide collaborative public policy dispute resolution services including intake, assessment, process design, convening, mediation, and facilitation.</li>
<li>Coordinate the activities of the OCDR to assure compliance with annual objectives of the Office and with agency policies.</li>
<li>Conduct outreach to educate clients (elected officials, Governor’s office, state agencies, legislature, judicial branch, local units of government, nonprofit organizations and other individuals or entities engaged in public policy disputes) on benefits of collaborative problem solving and availability of OCDR services.</li>
<li>Administer OCDR community mediation grants.</li>
<li>Provide leadership in expanding the use and understanding of dispute resolution procedures and services.</li>
<li>Participate in and support the overall management of the Bureau of Mediation Services.</li>
