We are pleased to send you the Call for Proposals for our 2013 EPP Section Conference.  The conference will be held on May 21-22, 2013 at American University in Washington DC .   The theme this year is Dialogue in an Era of Divisiveness.  We know our members have a lot to share on this topic, and we encourage you to submit a proposal.  Please note that the proposal deadline of February 15 is just a month away.  Specifics about what should be included in your proposal and where to send it are detailed in the Call for Proposals document.
 
Calls for solutions to the “wicked” problems facing public and private institutions and concerns about polarization rather than problem solving can be heard everywhere from the dining room, to the classroom, throughout the media and in political discourse.  However, phrases such as “breaking gridlock” or “catalyzing real change” are easier to say than to do.  This conference will offer opportunities to share ideas and learn together about ways we all can make a difference on critical issues through innovative approaches to collaborative problem solving and action.
 
We will be posting the Call for Proposals on the ACR EPP web site and sending it out through our LinkedIn group, but we also encourage you to forward this to others who may not be members of ACR but who have been taking innovative action and producing results through collaboration.  We encourage diversity in perspectives and participants.
