Florida administrator of struggling Oregon foreclosure mediation program dissolves

The Florida think tank tasked with running Oregon's foreclosure mediation program has closed up shop, leaving the Oregon Department of Justice looking for a new administrator at a time when the program is seeing little participation from lenders and faces legislative tweaking.

The Miami-based Collins Center for Public Policy announced its dissolution to Florida media last week. The self-supporting nonprofit faced declining revenue as its main source of revenue, a defunct mediation program in its home state, dried up.
