*Change to Win: Communications Director*


*Change to Win* is hiring a full-time communications director to oversee all
aspects of the organization’s public affairs and communications needs. Four
unions and 4.5 million workers united in Change to Win to build a new
movement of working people equipped to meet the challenges of the global
economy and restore the American Dream in the 21st century: a paycheck that
can support a family, affordable health care, a secure retirement and
dignity on the job.

*Ideal candidates* will have a demonstrated commitment to social and
economic justice; successful track record of managing staff; strong verbal
and written communications skills; experience working in senior positions in
campaigns, politics, government, advocacy organizations, and/or labor
unions.

*Candidates for Communications Director* will have demonstrated experience
leading, inspiring and developing junior staff; message development and
execution; demonstrated experience establishing positive working
relationships with journalists, speaking on the record and training others
to be media spokespeople; experience working with union presidents, elected
officials and in coalitions.

*Qualifications: *Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or related
field and at least 8-10 years work experience.

Based in Washington, DC with moderate travel.
