Free 1-Hour Presentation on Online Mediation Now Available in Your Town (via Skype)

Kindly invited by mediator Dan Simon, on May 14, 2013 I gave a 1-hour presentation (via Skype) to the ADR section of the Minnesota State Bar Association - http://goo.gl/90khp

It worked very well, with plenty of questions from the audience.

The main topic of my presentation was Online Mediation, and these are some of the topics we talked about:

>> How in our Virtual Mediation Lab, an ACR Hawaii pilot project, we help mediators practice and improve their skills by participating in online mediation simulations with other mediators. And why they find the 4-part format of our simulations so useful - http://goo.gl/dnc0Y
>> What we have learned so far running over 100 online mediation simulations of commercial, family, workplace and international cases
>> Why we think that in online mediation the mediator's skills and experience are more important than any video conferencing technology
>> Why we believe that, in order to promote mediation (and online mediation) around the world, it is necessary to show it “in action” and in different languages - http://goo.gl/Jh44h
>> Why we are so excited about our new project “Mobile Mediation” - http://goo.gl/YEV8D – and what specifically we want to find out

Other ADR organizations that are interested to learn more about online mediation can contact me by email http://goo.gl/g9AHY And we'll be glad to arrange a similar free 1-hour presentation via Skype, as we have done for the ADR Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Technically, it is very simple. All that is required is:

>> PC or Mac with built-in or external webcam, microphone and external speakers
>> Free version of Skype
>> Fast internet connection
>> Projector
>> Large screen
