Hours per week: 20-25
Length of internship: 3 months
Compensation: $12/hour
Supervisors name: Erin Polley
Tasks could include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting with Eyes Wide Open-Indiana and Cost of War displays and maintenance
• Tabling for AFSC at local events
• Outreach to Indiana colleges and student groups for AFSC Peace Fellowship
• Organizing youth in Indianapolis to create video submissions for “If I Had A Trillion Dollars” youth video contest
• Researching Indiana connection to the production of UAV’s for future campaign
• Doing outreach to local environmental groups to co-sponsor Fall event
• Assisting Program Director with organizing the annual meeting of the Indiana Peace and Justice Network
Special qualifications needed:
• Ability to travel the state and work on weekends if needed
• Writing and/or public speaking skills are useful
• Must be comfortable with basic Word programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Must be flexible, cooperative and a willing team member
• Ability to be self-motivated to work on individual projects and comfortable taking initiative
• Knowledge of Midwest region is useful, but not necessary
• Video knowledge useful, but not necessary
• Must be able to use own computer.
