The "Prisoner's Dilemma" is a famous example of game theory, which tries to understand why people act the way they do.  Simply, the game tests how people behave when consequences are dependent on the other individual's actions and reactions.

Test your strategy with the online Iterated Prisoner's Dilemma [click here].

This is an interactive online game inspired by the Iterated Prisoner's Dilemma game theory as described in the book The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins (1989 p. 205). This game theory is useful to demonstrate the evolution of cooperative behavior.

This interactive online game employs a variety of "personalities," or strategies, commonly found in the real world.
