'Key to Middle East conflict resolution is mutual recognition'

There are some interesting trends in the perception of the conflict in the Middle East.
In a survey done by the Israel Project, a majority of those surveyed agreed that recognition is needed in order for the peace talks to be
successful.

While the dispute doesn't always seem to show change, the perception of commitment towards peace seems to be changing. Even though most Americans in the survey believe Israel is more committed to peace, more Americans than any time in the project's history believe Palestine is more committed to peace
