Mediation specialist accused of bringing contraband to Maricopa County Jail

PHOENIX -- A mediation specialist with the Maricopa County Office of the Legal Defender was arrested Friday morning for allegedly sneaking contraband into the Maricopa County Jail.

Phoenix police said Jessica Lynn Mukavetz, 33, was booked on multiple charges including participating in a street gang or organization and promoting prison contraband.
