Seeking Experienced Peer Mediation Trainers to Partner With Online Peer Mediation Platform

The Online Peer Mediation Platform (OPMP) http://goo.gl/gK45Vd is an innovative 2-year project sponsored by the JAMS Foundation, currently managed by the National Association of Peer Program Professionals and previously managed by the Association for Conflict Resolution Education, Research and Training Section.

Our OPMP Team is a group of experts in peer mediation, online mediation and online technology:

>> Judy Tindall, Ph.D. – President, National Association of Peer Program Professionals
>> Dr. Cynthia Morton – Chair of Education Research and Teaching Section, Association for Conflict Resolution
>> Prof. Karen DeVoogd – MA, Director Mediator Mentors, California State University Fresno, Fresno CA
>> Kristen Woodward – Conflict Resolution Specialist, Fairfax County Schools
>> Giuseppe Leone – Founder, Virtual Mediation Lab
>> Jay Edwards – Website Consultant, ReelFire Productions

As explained in this Mediate.com article by Judy Tindall http://goo.gl/iss3pp the main goal of OPMP is to take peer mediation to the next level.

Therefore, we are looking to partner with qualified trainers and/or mediation centers with experience in middle and high school peer mediation training. They are invited to complete an OPMP Partnership online application form. If their application is accepted, they can attend an informational webinar Wednesday, May 4, 2016 7-8pm Eastern Time where we’ll present our project in more detail and discuss the benefits of our partnership.
