What is your ADR experience? (trainings and education)
I have been working solely in adr since 2003. I did my original training as an undergraduate student at the University of Queensland. I did my Masters in Law majoring in alternative dispute resolution at the University of Queensland. I have trained in elder mediation with Elder Decisions in Boston. Recently, I have been offering courses in Elder Mediation. I have learnt Cinnie Nobles conflict coaching model in Australia and I have recently completed REAL Conflict Coaching with Nadja Alexander.I have undertaken over 3000 mediation.
What, if any, ADR organizations or groups do you belong to?
I am a founding member of the Queensland Chapter of LEADR now called the Resolution Institute. I am also a member of the Queensland Law Society ADR Committee
What are you hoping to get from ADRhub.com
I am hoping to soak up as much as I can from experienced mediators and conflict coaches
What else do you want to tell the ADRhub.com community (what you are up to, what you would like to do in ADR, etc.)
Elder mediation is new to Australia and I am introducing elder mediation to experience family law mediators.
I am also interested in marketing for mediators. It is such a hard job to educate the community about mediation but educating them about elder mediation is even harder as it is a new area
