What is your profession and title?
Practitioner & Trainer?Teacher of Dispute Resolution Practices, with emphasis on all types of Mediation Title: Peace-seeking Entrepreneur
What is your ADR experience? (trainings and education)
First trained & began practice in Civil Facilitative Mediation in 1991, along with hired as a Lobbyist for City of New Orleans. Continued as same, plus discovered trained in Family Mediation in 1989, so practiced same as one of first in south LA in both areas of mediation. Decided to halt 20 year practice of law & do only ADR, including training others. Became author of LA Civil Mediation Act of 1997, 1st trainer in LA & originator of much ADR in South Central USA. After 2006-11 in hospital for spinal, etc. work, returned to same areas, & continuing now, with leading in bringing new areas of practice of Dispute Practice via ODR, YouTube, etc. My education is through JD from Tulane Law School in N.O. LA '79. My ADR training is over 500 hours of all types of facilitative, directive, evaluative, transformative, workplace, elder, family, school, neighbourhood, business to business, etc.trainings from 1991 through present (2013) and continuing, plus I give seminars, etc. on same subjects to all types of people, from doctors, lawyers, MBAs, etc. to the regular neighbor & friend from your hometown, or elementary school children.
What, if any, ADR organizations or groups do you belong to?
I belonged to almost everyone until I had to spend 5+ years in hospital. Now I use all my former memberships via LinkedIn, plus belong to LA State Bar Assn (mandatory) plus the ADR Section of it. I want to rejoin Mediate.com & ACR at the minimum, but don't have the funds now, being on disability & giving most of my semionars for free or little tuitions. Hopefully I'll be able to return before I retire from life permanently. Being 62, I feel I have at least 20 more years to get there - lol!
What are you hoping to get from ADRhub.com
More contacts, education, communication, learning, links, etc.
Do you/your company have a website?
http://www.msmediator.com
What other ADR related sites do you visit?
Any & all available
What else do you want to tell the ADRhub.com community (what you are up to, what you would like to do in ADR, etc.)
I would love to have a B & B where folks could come stay & take my seminars. Plus I want to still lobby laws to make mediation & dispute resolution much more popular & regularly used down here in the South. Once I tell folks about it, they love it. It's just getting the word out with just me to do all (or most) of the work. I would love to have a TV program, or YouTube, or both, to talk to folks about the opportunities for them in ADR. I have tried since 1991 to get our courts to use these forms regularly & haven't had a lot of luck so far, due to the conflicts between attorney mediators & MD mediators, plus lay mediators & "professional" mediators. Someone needs to get the mediators to stop having their dispute among themselves & start supporting & applauding each other. I volunteer to do so, if I can be given the appearance of authority to do so.

Linda- Welcome to the ADRhub. I love your idea of the B&B, especially in the area of New Orleans. I have been blessed to go there once and hope to visit again soon. p.s. The YouTube channel is an innovative idea. I would start working via that route to get the ADR word out.
