What is your ADR experience? (trainings and education)

I am currently Consulting Director HR and head up the ADR Services in Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon. My career spans over 30 years, during which I worked in industry at a senior level in Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Communications. I have spent the last twelve years consulting across all sectors of business and organisational life in Ireland where I specialise in workplace ADR.

I am a fully qualified mediator and practice almost exclusively in workplace and organisational sector.

What, if any, ADR organizations or groups do you belong to?

I am a practitioner member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland.

What are you hoping to get from ADRhub.com

I am hoping to become involved in the sharing of knowledge and experienced with other like minded people with a view to continually improving my understanding of all aspects of ADR, with particular interest in what is happening in other countries/cultures in the context of workplace conflict.

What else do you want to tell the ADRhub.com community (what you are up to, what you would like to do in ADR, etc.)

As significant amount of my works centers on arbitration, investigation and other forms of ADR where the disputants readily surrender the power to resolve their conflicts to a third party. I would like to see that balance reversed in favour of interventions that leave the power to resolve in the hands of those in conflict.
