To learn more about the systemic differences between the provision of "family justice" services around the world. To gain some sense of what opportunities there might be to conduct family dispute resolution over the internet, whether face-to-face or via messaging or other services.

There needs to be a cultural change in my jurisdiction of England and Wales to the way family disputes are addressed. Mediators are central to the future in the same way that lawyers were in the past. I'm keen to oil the wheels of change, while recognising those with a vested commercial interest in maintaining the adversarial status quo will be resisting much of the way.
