Back to School Series - Texas Conflict Coach

August is a time for many families preparing their kids back to school. We see ads on t.v., jingles and segments on morning shows for Back to School preparedness usually about fashion, supplies, etc. But what about preparing kids, parents and teachers for managing the challenges, issues and potential conflict that can be encountered every day in school.

The Texas Conflict Coach blog talk radio show is hosting a Back to School series in August. Here is the lineup:

8/2 Restorative Practices: Can Ancient Traditions of Accountability and Peacemaking Make Safer Schools Today

8/9 Mentored Peer Mediation: How is it different from Peer Mediation in Schools?

8/16 Siblings that Squabble Don't Have to Punch and Shout

8/23 Special Education Mediation

8/30 Amigos in Mediation (AIM): A City-Wide Peer Mediation Program

Our shows are every Tuesday evening from 7:00-7:30 pm CST. Listen live or listen to the archive at your own convenience. Join the conversation.
