Conflict resolution and mediation for African Diaspora

I am thankful for Dr CJ Larkin and Dr Pam DeVove who organized ethnic mediation council of St Louis MO that has been helping many conflicts resolved in our ethnic communities. The integration of traditional and modern concepts of conflict resolution works best because people are very familiar and open if they approach for any issues based on the culture they know. Conflict is natural and it even exists with in one person as there is a saying in my native Ethiopian, "my left leg some times fight with my right leg when I walk"

As a chaplain minster, care giver, counselor  and community leader, I develop some skills that helps me to deal with the conflict issues.I urge the professionals in conflict resolution to share skills on practical cases that we may learn each other to help others better and to see our community and our nation  and the world in general live in peace and harmony.
