International Scholarships Available for 2012 Ombuds Conference

The International Ombudsman Association has announced the availability of financial support for members or prospective members living outside of North America to attend its annual conference on April 15-18, 2012, in Houston, Texas. The scholarship is targeted at Organizational Ombuds working outside the US or Canada who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference.

Priority will be given to applicants whose participation may be instrumental in the advancement of the Organizational Ombudsman profession outside of the United States and Canada. Candidates may self-apply or be nominated by another member. Participation of recipients as presenter or panel member during the conference is desirable but not a pre-requisite. Applications are due by November 1, 2011. (IOA News.)
