Veteran ADR Professional Hon. Janice M. Symchych (Former) Joins JAMS

Minneapolis, Minn. – JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, today announced the addition of Hon. Janice M. Symchych (Former) to its panel. Judge Symchych will be based in the JAMS Minneapolis Resolution Center. She will serve as an arbitrator, mediator and special master for disputes in a variety of areas including Business/Commercial, Class Action/Mass Tort, Employment, Government/Public Agency, Healthcare, Intellectual Property and International.

 

With more than 30 years of legal experience, as well as time spent as a former magistrate judge, Judge Symchych most recently served as Deputy General Counsel at Medtronic, Inc., where she was responsible for company litigation worldwide. She has mediated more than 1,000 cases both as a judge and private attorney, served as a special master in healthcare intellectual property cases and as an arbitrator in multiple intellectual property and complex commercial civil cases. She also has significant experience in the health care industry.

Judge Symchych graduated with her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota and earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota where she was also the Valedictorian.
