What's Happening with the NCR Program (June 2018)

NCR Program professors (Palma Strand and Jacqueline Font-Guzmán) presented at two different panels at the Law and Society Conference, both on social justice issues: tax inequality & critical race and gender.

One of the panels was with Prof. Nick Mirkay, faculty at William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai’i and another panel with Prof. Paul McGreal, faculty at Creighton Law School who also teaches in the NCR Program

A simulation co-authored by NCR Program professor Noam Ebner has been  has been named first-prize co-winner of Syracuse U’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs annual E-PARCC teaching case and simulation competition.

The simulation - one of three Model EU simulations Noam co-authored as part of a project for the EU Delegation to the US - places participants in the role of EU leaders tasked with forming EU policy in face of the waves of migration entering the EU, as this situation peaked a couple of years ago. The simulation can be downloaded for use here.
