A Presentation by Jason Dykstra

The internet is changing the way you do business.  It’s changing how your word of mouth is spreading, how you can reach potential clients, and how you make new connections.  As a conflict management specialist you are already ahead of the game.  You already help improve communications between your clients, so why not learn how you can adapt those skills into better marketing yourself!

The Archive for the April webinar is now uploaded to this forum. If you missed the session, please quick play above and enjoy. You are free to add to the discussion by posting questions or comments in this forum.

I know there were twitter handles, facebook pages, and resources provided in the live session. Please feel free to add them here as well so they can be documented and create a resource for practitioners to come back to in the future.

Take care,

Bryan

As promised, here are some of the sites that I mentioned as well as some good books for you readers that are interested.

http://www.twellow.com/

The books that I mentioned are "Brand Against the Machine" by John Morgan, "UnMarketing" by Scott Stratten, "Crush It" and "Thank You Economy" by Gary Vaynerchuck and "Content Rules" by C.C. Chapman & Ann Handley

Another book that I didn't mention but should have is "Six Pixels of Separation" by Mitch Joel.

If you have any questions feel free to post them here or shoot me an email (jason@absolutionmediation.ca) or find me on twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/jasondyk) and we'll chat :)

One more site I should have mentioned but didn't was http://mashable.com/ which has some great information for people starting out on social media and those who are already using it.
