Cheryl Cutrona, Special Education Mediator, Good Shepherd Mediation Program, Philadelphia, PA

Join our Workshop leaders for this dialogue and skills training on conflict coaching to assist educators and parents in analyzing conflict interactions, discussions, and/or behaviors in special education disputes.

This interactive and integrative Workshop will teach a model for peer-to-peer (parent to parent, teacher to teacher) problem-solving conversations that build relationships and enhance collaboration in special education conflicts. Piloted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in 2013-2014, Peer Conflict Coaching is an exciting addition to the range of collaborative processes for special education conflicts. The Workshop will use video examples, role plays, and feedback from expert conflict coaches. Continuing education credits (CEC's) are available. Registration is limited so register early to secure your place in this forward-thinking approach to assisting all who are engaged by and working with children with special needs.
