The USOC in Colorado Springs  is seeking applications for its Athlete Ombudsman position.  The position heads a two-person office that provides independent and confidential advice to elite athletes regarding their rights under various domestic and international laws and regulatory schemes, and mediates conflicts between athletes and their respective national governing bodies.

Applicants must have a JD and 10 years of progressive experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movement as volunteer, athlete, coach or staff member required.  Experience as a national or world class athlete is preferred.  The position pays $154,528 to $198,000 per year.  No application deadline indicated.
