The public research university in East Lansing, Michigan has opened a search for a University Ombudsman. The position serves a student population of about 48,000 and supervises an Assistant Ombuds. The MSU Ombuds also conducts or participates in numerous workshops for students, faculty, and staff during the year and is consulted on various policy changes that affect students.

Applicants must have a PhD or other terminal degree, and must be a senior faculty member, or executive manager with relevant conflict resolution and academic experience. No salary or deadline indicated.  (HERC Posting.)
