As background, I am the Senior United States Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Florida. I have developed a system to be used to conduct remote audio / video mediation and settlement meetings. The system is the same one used by many of the United States District Court of Appeals with our special modifications. Obvious advantages are no need for travel across town or across country, ability for participants to multi task during sessions, the ability to select mediators on expertise instead of location, etc..

Thanks for sharing this resource Kenneth. It is a very clean and user friendly interface you created. I am curious what you are using as your conferencing platform. What is the typical length of time you anticipate for a typical mediation session through this process from intake to agreement? Do you find that you are able to maintain focus on the process when you integrate this level of technology and the many potentail distractions that come along with it?

Thanks again for sharing and I hope you can join our conversations during Cyberweek. It will be a perfect opportunity to show the wonderful work you are doing. Be well!
