NAFCM is a membership-based, nonprofit organization representing the interests, promise, and voice of the community mediation movement. NAFCM’s mission is to support the maintenance and growth of community-based mediation programs and processes; to present a compelling voice in appropriate policy-making, legislative, professional, and other arenas; and to encourage the development and sharing of resources for these efforts.

NAFCM offers trainings, and educational programs on community mediation and program administration through Regional Training Institutes (RTIs), conference sessions, invited presentations, teleseminars, and convenient web conferences.
