Coalition of Federal Ombuds Announces 2012 Conference

CoFO will hold its 11th Annual Conference on Monday, October 29, 2012, at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. The event is open to those who are working as Ombuds in the Federal sector and anyone just interested in the role. Individuals thinking about creating the role within their agency are especially invited to attend.


The CoFO conference will feature three distinguished speakers:

  • Charles L. Howard - Partner, Shipman and Goodwin, LLC and Author, The Organizational Ombudsman: Origins, Roles and Operations - A Legal Guide
  • Dr. Sandra Cheldelin - Vernon M. and Minnie I. Lynch Professor, School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, George Mason University
  • Eileen B. Hoffman - Commissioner at Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and Adjunct Faculty at George Washington University Law School and Graduate School


The event is free, but registration is required. (CoFO 2012 Conf.)
