For those interested in expanding into online mediation - or simply using online mediation techniques and skills to better prepare for in-person mediation - we have recently added to our course in technology and mediation and ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) with a section on how to market your mediation practice using social networking tools.

Another development is that , as we have decided  to  make optional our provision of actors to play the role of the parties in the live online role-plays, we have now been able to reduce the course fee to only £75 (around US$120 -AU$115 -CAN$120). We will still provide the  actors at your option but that puts the fee up to the standard £150 (US$240 -AU$230 - CAN$240).

If you haven't yet taken the course,  which you take online in your own time, you can enrol at http://www.ODRTraining.com Its a goood time to train in ODR given UNCITRAL's 5 day meeting last month on the subject and the European Commission's announcement last week that it wants all member states to promote ODR systems.
