No Money, No Mediation

Looks like money is preventing a great program from moving forward...

Without money to pay a coordinator, the city's Citizens Police Review Board members are looking to temporarily tweak their proposed mediation program.

The ordinance that established the police review board calls for the creation of a mediation process that could help deal with citizen complaints. But full implementation of the board-approved program will have to wait another fiscal year or until funding can be located.
