1.  Mediation Book.  In 2012, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education will be publishing a mediation manual thatDavid Hoffman is writing with help from BLC staff and affiliates.  A draft chapter, entitled “The Psychology of Mediation,” written by David and BLC affiliate Dr. Richard Wolman, can be found at www.tinyurl.com/PsychologyOfMediation -- we welcome your comments and suggestions about this draft.

2.  Film Series.  You are invited to attend any or all of the films on negotiation and conflict resolution that BLC will be showing this winter.  The films start at 5 p.m. – we supply popcorn, pizza, and beverages.  A brief discussion follows each film.  Please RSVP to Annie O’Connell (aoconnell@BostonLawCollaborative.com) for one or more of the following:

March 15 - “Fairly Legal,” the first TV show about a mediator (played by the engaging Sara Shahi) on the USA Network; we will watch some hilarious and intense mediations – excerpts from the show’s first two seasons – including the mediation of a convenience store hold-up.
