Shalom Noam:
I co-mediated the other day with a senior mediator who conducted the session contrary to most of what I learned at CU. Instead of following the principles of facilitative mediation, it was a gestalt session in the former, transformative and evaluative mediation. The mediator openly took sides with the plaintiff. Further, the mediator lectured both parties on "right conduct" and following the righteous path. A settlement was reached;however, this would be an interesting case study in what not to do. My head is still spinning. My plan is to avoid her in the future since I have enough bad habits already. I thought that you would be amused and certainly not aghast since you've probably seen and heard everything at this point. HOK A CHAINIK

Hi Noam, Thanks for accepting my friend request. I am very new to ADRHub and the ADR community, but I have applied to the online MS NDR program at the Werner Institute, so I hope we have a chance to meet (online and in person) in the very near future. I am very excited about joining the program, and from the extensive research I've done, you certainly have developed one of the best online programs in the field.
Thanks for the death match, the ride and then class, not necessarily in that order. It's all been so much more than I expected...grudge match is on the slate...
