Webinar: The Baseline of Relationships and Acendancy of Imagination in Online Conflict Resolution

Cyberweek 2015: The Baseline of Relationships and Acendancy of Imag... from Bryan J Hanson on Vimeo.

Webinar Description:

Contrary to popular belief, the online world does not fracture relationships but rather relies on them entirely for success. This is true in particular when faced with small and large organizational conflict. (This presentation will not cover conflict appropriate for family court.) Drawing on twenty years running a wholly virtual business, the presenter will review the distinctions between online and co-located (or in-person) relationships and conflict, providing terminology needed to illuminate further distinctions. The presentation will then cover distinctions and similarities, focusing on how to manage conflict as a leader and as a neutral third party using new skills, adjustments in process, and imagination to enrich relationships and the outcomes of inevitable conflicts that arise there.

Presenter Bios:

In 1997, Teresa Hartnett founded a wholly virtual business whose consultations in publishing and digital education range from partnering her own expert teams with large corporate partners for long-term projects … through one-on-one coaching and product development. This program draws on Hartnett’s leadership experience with conflict resolution across the full arc of business relationships, from start through conflict resolution.

Hello All -

I am delighted to have been able to share about the baseline of relationships at work in online or virtual business settings - and how imagination and creativity play an ever-greater role in sustaining productive connections.

As promised, below is a PDF of the presentation, with citations and links mentioned along the way.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly at MY EMAIL. And, if you wish, visit my website at Hartnett Inc.

And, if you have a moment, I'd appreciate your feedback on how this presentation of my work went, especially since it is the first time I've had the pleasure of sharing in a mixed academic and professional setting online. SURVEY
