Civil Litigation Being Quietly ‘Harmonized’

China’s leadership has put a priority on quieting social tensions and reducing public protests. To help accomplish these goals they have reversed policies of court reform that have been promoted for over two decades. This setback threatens the future of the criminal process, manifested in recent prosecutions, detentions and house arrests of individuals asserting fundamental rights that have been well-publicized outside China. Less visible, but equally disturbing, has been the effect of current…See More

Hi, Randy -

Sure - I'd very much appreciate being on your roster! Thank you.

Hopefully your conflict management design will keep more medical personnel out of law firms like ours.

I'm taking Dr. Ralph Kilmann's online course (TKI) this week. Wonderful course. He presents an eight track approach to organizational conflict. Interesting.

Take care.

Hi, Randy -

I was responding to your comment when POOF! My response disappeared! Oh, the mysteries of cyber-life. :)

I'd love to know more about your work designing conflict management programs in the healthcare field. I'm very interested in the concept of patient-centered early disclosure as opposed to the preeminent culture of risk-centered medical malpractice lawsuits. As a litigation paralegal, I've assisted with representing a number of clients (plaintiffs) in medical malpractice cases - it's a heart-breaking process for everyone involved.

Are you working with any of the parties regarding the oil leak crisis?
